Want to improve your art, and learn more about getting a job in the animation industry?
With this mentorship, you will receive personalized feedback and instruction tailored to your goals as an artist. I’ve worked with hundreds of students in private and group art instruction settings allowing me to help with a wide variety of artistic challenges, no matter your skill level or style. Complete beginners to seasoned pros are welcome!
Using video calls and screensharing, you will be able to watch live and ask questions as I do paintovers and demos and breakdown fundamental concepts in art in simple and approachable ways. Homework assignments will target specific areas so that they are relevant to your needs leading to noticeable improvement. I will also provide resources as well as a recommended reading list. The mentorship is 5 weeks long with an hour meeting once per week. Recordings are provided. A short questionnaire will be sent after booking to help me get to know your goals better before the first session.

Description
Yuhki Demers is an animation producer, production designer, and artist with over a decade of experience designing for films, television, and games. Yuhki learned firsthand what it takes to make cutting-edge animation while working as a visual development artist on both Spider-verse films. He was integral in creating the look and feel for the final films, along with creating original characters, sets, and hand-animating many of the film’s “burst cards”. He took that knowledge to Netflix where he production designed “My Dad the Bounty Hunter”, a premium animated series. Credits include: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, My Dad the Bounty Hunter, Vivo, Big Hero 6: The Series.
